Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as an LMFT, you will take on a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine clients' needs and presenting challenges.
\n
• Developing tailored treatment plans that align with clients' goals for therapy.
\n
• Providing individual and group psychotherapy services to clients facing diverse emotional and relational issues.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and EMDR to guide sessions.
\n
• Facilitating discussions on topics such as grief and loss, perinatal mental health, and LGBTQ+ concerns, ensuring all interventions are culturally sensitive.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
\n
• Participating in case consultations and team meetings to enhance collaborative care and therapeutic strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on serving children, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds, offering bilingual (Spanish and English) psychotherapy services as part of our efforts to reach a broader community. You will engage with clients who are navigating various challenges, including family dynamics, mental health crises, and situational stressors, ensuring that their distinct cultural values and customs are respected and integrated into their treatment.

Qualifications\n

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree from an accredited graduate program in Counseling or Marriage and Family Studies.
\n
• An active, unrestricted LMFT license.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
\n
• At least two years of experience in a mental health setting, including work with diverse populations.
\n
• A deep respect for cultural sensitivity and individual uniqueness.
\n
• Capability to deliver therapy in a variety of modalities and settings, including telehealth.
\n
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation as needed for potential in-person sessions.
\n
• Willingness to work at least two evenings per week and one day on the weekend.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

While the above qualifications are essential, the following experiences are preferred:

• Training in specialized methodologies such as CBT, EMDR, or TF-CBT.

• Established areas of specialization, such as trauma, grief and loss, or LGBTQ+ issues.

• Experience working with electronic health record (EHR) systems and productivity software.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $105,000, supplemented by a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
