- The Sr Staff Accountant will prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and maintain general ledger accuracy.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, variance analyses, and management reports.
- Support accounts payable activities, including invoice review, vendor payments, and maintaining supporting documentation.
- The Sr Staff Accountant will partner with Operations and Supply Chain to analyze financial results and improve business performance.
- Assist with external audits by preparing schedules and supporting requested documentation.
- The Sr Staff Accountant will identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, and internal controls.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing or consumer products.
- Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and general ledger accounting.
- Cost accounting experience is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central is a plus).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
