Associate Director, Oncology Outcomes Research

AstraZeneca seeks an Associate Director for Oncology Outcomes Research to lead health outcomes strategy and real-world evidence initiatives supporting oncology assets. This individual contributor role involves executing global and US market strategies, managing vendor relationships, and communicating research findings to internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Execute asset strategy including real-world evidence and value proposition assessment initiatives
- Develop and lead global and US regional health outcomes strategies specific to assigned assets
- Communicate strategically with diverse internal and external collaborators across functional teams
- Present research findings at scientific conferences and contribute to peer-reviewed manuscript development
- Manage vendor relationships and budgets to ensure quality project delivery on schedule
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical industry experience; graduate degree strongly preferred (PhD, MS, MPH)
- Expertise in health economics, epidemiology, outcomes research, or related disciplines
- Advanced knowledge of real-world research methods, HEOR projects, and pharmacoepidemiologic modeling
- Understanding of global and US healthcare systems and reimbursement landscape
- Scientific expertise in oncology with familiarity of relevant data sources
- Strong analytical, judgment, and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication with interpersonal skills
Compensation: $150,202.40 - $225,303.60 USD base
