About This Role The Specialty Unit Staff RN provides professional nursing care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures while leading the healthcare team. Highlights Pay: $62 - $79/hour Location: Los Angeles, CA Facility: Los Angeles Medical Center Department/Unit: Cardiac Surgery Unit - ICU Schedule: Full-time, Night shift What You'll Do Provide professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process. Uphold Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures. Serve as a leader of the healthcare team and delegate tasks appropriately. Develop and contribute to individualized plans of care. Monitor patient progress and revise care plans as necessary. Ensure effective communication with patients and families regarding care plans. Document nursing processes and interventions accurately. Participate in departmental performance improvement activities. Maintain a safe environment and adhere to workplace safety principles. Practice customer service standards and ensure patient confidentiality. Requirements Education N/A Experience 1-year recent full-time equivalent experience in CSU or completion of a Kaiser Permanente CSU course within the last 12 months. Licenses & Certifications Registered Nurse License (California) required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
