Ignite the Power of Communication in a Flourishing Texas City – Become Our Next Speech Language Therapist
What if your next professional journey allowed you to truly give voice to those in need? As a Speech Language Therapist in one of Texas's lively and thriving locales, your role extends far beyond the management of communication and swallowing disorders. You will help unlock potential, foster confidence, and enhance connections—supporting everyone from toddlers embracing their first syllables to seniors seeking a renewed sense of independence.
This position uniquely offers a chance to impact a diverse range of patients throughout their lives in a dynamic environment that combines outpatient therapy with some inpatient responsibilities. Whether your heart lies with pediatric language acquisition, adult communicative impairments, or geriatric cognitive linguistics, you will discover purpose and adaptability here.
Description
- Assess patients from pediatric to geriatric sectors using standardized evaluations and observational methods.
- Create tailored treatment plans that encompass both immediate objectives and ongoing communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements.
- Conduct individual speech therapy focused on communication, language, fluency, voice, and dysphagia.
- Collaborate seamlessly with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, families, and caregivers to formulate integrated care strategies.
- Provide education to patients and their families to enhance progress beyond clinical sessions.
- Occasionally perform inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring a smooth continuum of care throughout the treatment process.
- Maintain precise and timely records in compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
- Stay current with industry advancements through continued education and collaboration with peers.
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), if not yet ASHA-certified.
Certifications
- State licensure as a Speech Language Therapist.
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
Skills
- Expertise in evidence-based treatments appropriate for all ages, along with a deep understanding of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing issues.
- Outstanding communication skills in engaging patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams.
- Capability to adapt therapy techniques to embrace diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving capabilities.
- Comfortable navigating electronic medical records and adhering to documentation standards.
Benefits
- Competitive salary aligned with experience.
- Flexible scheduling for a healthy work-life balance with varied patient loads.
- Opportunity to specialize in pediatrics, adult neuro rehabilitation, or geriatrics.
- Paid time off (PTO) and holiday remuneration.
- Options for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
- Professional development and continuing education reimbursement.
- A collaborative, team-oriented setting centered on quality care and lifelong learning.
A Career That Inspires Movement — and Moves You Forward
In this role, you won't merely offer speech therapy — you'll join a mission steeped in community that strives to amplify voices, improve communication, and cultivate joy through the most fundamental human interactions: understanding and expression.
You will collaborate with colleagues who treat each other like family, in an environment that cherishes partnership over competition. Each patient comes with a narrative; we depend on you to guide how that narrative unfolds.

Our Ideal Candidate
We are on the lookout for a Speech Language Therapist who is not just outcome-oriented but also driven by compassion. Someone who sees a reserved child and envisions a bright future of expression, or who recognizes the struggle of a stroke survivor and is inspired by resilience.
Your expertise might lean toward pediatrics with an aim to delve into adult care — or perhaps you specialize in neuro rehabilitation and are keen to embrace early intervention techniques.
No matter your passion, if you're ready to serve with heart and lead with expertise, we are eager to welcome you into our family.
Let's Craft the Right Narrative — Together
If you understand that speech transcends mere sounds, and therapy encompasses so much more than tasks — if you believe in constructing trust prior to achieving goals, and value laughter alongside language — then this may indeed be the next exciting chapter of your career.
Join us in a culture that honors communication, connection, and the bravery involved in starting anew. Apply today to share your voice with our team — and help others realize theirs.
