Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including reviewing medical histories and utilizing specific assessment tools to determine functional limitations and create individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Communicate evaluation findings and treatment strategies clearly to patients and their families, actively involving them in the goal-setting process to enhance patient engagement and compliance.
• Demonstrate proficient implementation of treatment protocols based on assessment results, ensuring they are adaptable to the evolving therapeutic landscape and patient presentations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to enhance patient care, while swiftly documenting any changes in a patient’s condition that may necessitate adjustments in the treatment plan.
• Manage effective discharge planning by documenting accurate and timely patient care activities, including initial evaluations, daily notes, interim progress reports, and final discharge assessments.
• Maintain punctuality and an organized schedule to meet productivity targets while participating in community outreach and marketing initiatives to promote the clinic’s services.
• Engage actively in the pursuit of departmental goals and compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida, as well as certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
• Two years of relevant experience in a physical therapy role is preferred but not mandatory for highly motivated applicants.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
