Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to develop effective treatment plans aimed at improving mobility, reducing pain, and preventing future injuries.
• Direct evidence-based physical therapy interventions based on individual patient needs, ensuring adherence to their care plans.
• Oversee and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants to guarantee the appropriate administration of therapeutic services in accordance with prescribed care protocols.
• Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Administer various manual therapy techniques as well as therapeutic exercises, ensuring patients understand their significance and execution.
• Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment and prosthetics, working in tandem with patients and their families to enhance functional independence.
• Document all patient interactions, evaluations, and treatment modifications accurately in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during care plan meetings to address comprehensive patient needs and ensure continuity of care.
• Engage with patients' families to educate them about the therapy process and promote an understanding of at-home exercises.
• Participate actively in the continuous development of clinical protocols and best practices within the organization.
• Meet productivity benchmarks while ensuring excellent patient care, facilitating efficiency without compromising quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with a diverse patient population recovering from orthopedic surgeries, age-related ailments, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• An active, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida is mandatory, with a clean record free of sanctions.
• Strong competency in manual therapy techniques and a proven ability to develop effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly Web PT, is essential for maintaining accurate patient documentation.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry advancements in therapeutic techniques.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable.
• Experience in performing functional assessments and devising personalized treatment plans.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a lucrative salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
