Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments and evaluate the mental health needs of clients and their families, employing various therapeutic modalities tailored to individual cases.

• Provide crisis intervention services during critical moments, ensuring immediate support and stabilization for clients in distress.

• Maintain a caseload of individual therapy sessions, delivering personalized therapy while monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops focusing on parenting, emotional regulation, and relevant topics such as addiction recovery and trauma.

• Provide temperament counseling for parents, equipping them with strategies to foster healthy development and manage behavioral challenges in children.

• Conduct developmental evaluations for children, focusing on identifying developmental milestones and providing recommendations for targeted support.

• Plan and deliver training sessions for external stakeholders, including social workers, attorneys, and educators, enhancing community understanding of mental health issues.

• Document all client interactions and treatment plans accurately and timely in compliance with HIPAA regulations and best practice standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on children and families facing a range of emotional and behavioral challenges, including chronic pain, anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders. You will provide therapy tailored specifically to high-risk youth and families who may be experiencing instability due to social, environmental, or economic factors. Your role will also encompass addressing substance abuse and its implications on family dynamics.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline.

• Active California license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is set between $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and case load.
