Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT at our organization, you will undertake various crucial responsibilities that directly contribute to the well-being of our clients:

• Act as a primary point of contact for families, forging proactive communication to ensure they feel supported and informed throughout the therapeutic process.

• Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing our evidence-based frameworks, including the Attachment-Based Family Therapy model.
\n
• Lead Family Orientations, Welcome Presentations, and Family Support Groups, creating a welcoming atmosphere for families new to our program.
\n
• Complete comprehensive documentation for all client interactions, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, promptly and according to established standards.
\n
• Utilize Word, Outlook, our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, and online learning platforms to manage documentation and data entry accurately.
\n
• Participate in weekly treatment team meetings, staff meetings, and clinical supervision, engaging in collaborative discussions to enhance client care.
\n
• Represent Positive Progress Counseling Center at various meetings, trainings, and conferences, expanding your professional network and knowledge.
\n
• Independently manage your schedule to effectively meet the therapeutic goals and responsibilities associated with your clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will focus specifically on adolescents and young adults dealing with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and more. You will be instrumental in building trusting relationships with clients and their families, providing them with the tools and guidance necessary to navigate their challenges. Your expertise will contribute to improved client outcomes, fostering resilience and growth within this vulnerable population.

Qualifications\n

Qualified candidates should possess the following:

• A Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution, or current enrollment in a Doctorate program.

• A board registration such as APCC, LAPC, ASW, AMFT, or equivalent in the state of service delivery.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
