This position is primarily remote, allowing you to conduct therapeutic sessions from the comfort of your home while also utilizing our outpatient office when necessary. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions in-home or group therapy sessions in our outpatient facilities, ensuring a safe and productive environment for clients.
\n
• Implement structured therapy methodologies that focus on anger management, coping strategies, and social skills development so as to mitigate high-risk behaviors such as self-injurious behavior (SIB) or physical aggression.
\n
• Empower youth and their caregivers by enhancing decision-making skills to effectively manage behavioral challenges at home.
\n
• Collaborate tirelessly with the Child Family Treatment Team and other interdisciplinary professionals to deliver consistent support tailored to each family's needs.
\n
• Complete and submit all necessary documentation—including intake assessments, individualized treatment plans, and progress notes—within designated timeliness to maintain high standards of care.

• Attend monthly team meetings, actively participate in case discussions, and contribute recommendations based on your observations and professional insights.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on children and adolescents aged 3-20 who are dealing with a range of developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, mental health issues, and associated behavioral challenges. You will provide therapeutic support that builds on each child's strengths and facilitates their development while working closely with their families to foster positive outcomes and cohesion.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
\n
• An active and unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license is mandatory.
\n
• You should be available for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week, preferably during after-school hours of 4-7 PM, with weekend availability being a plus.
\n
• You must possess a current valid driver’s license and have access to a registered vehicle.
\n
• A background check, including fingerprinting, will be conducted in accordance with organizational policy.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing positive behavior support and working with youth exhibiting behavioral challenges is highly desirable.

• Prior experience in working with children and adolescents with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) will be considered a valuable asset.

Compensation and Benefits\n
