Blazer Jobs has an opening for a School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time contract position for the 2026–2027 school year. This onsite role in Tacoma, WA offers the opportunity to work with a K–12 student population in a collaborative and supportive school environment.
Job Description:
The Speech Language Pathologist will provide direct and indirect services to students, including therapy, evaluations, and IEP support. Additional caseload details are currently being finalized and will be based on student needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students
- Conduct evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement IEPs
- Attend IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring
Qualifications:
- Active Washington SLP license/certification (or ability to obtain)
- Must be fingerprinted through OSPI (or willing to complete)
- Must hold or be willing to obtain a Washington ESA certification
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Education:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Work Hours:
37.5 hours per week
Job Location:
Tacoma, WA
Dates:
Start: September 1, 2026
End: June 23, 2027
Caseload:
K–12 (details to be determined)
