Automotive Finance Associate (F&I) Location: Roseville, CA Job Type: Full-Time Company: Mazda Roseville Join Our Team! This position plays an important role in providing customers with a seamless vehicle purchasing experience while maximizing dealership profitability and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and compliance. Key Responsibilities Assist customers with financing and leasing options, ensuring they fully understand the terms and conditions of their agreements. Present and explain available finance and insurance products, including vehicle service contracts, GAP coverage, maintenance plans, and other protection products. Work with lenders to secure competitive financing options and obtain necessary approvals. Prepare, review, and finalize all finance and lease contracts accurately and efficiently. Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted to the business office in a timely manner. Maintain compliance with all applicable federal and California laws, lender requirements, and dealership policies. Work closely with the sales department to ensure a smooth transition from vehicle selection to contract completion. Maintain accurate records and follow up on outstanding contracts, funding issues, and missing documentation. Meet or exceed established performance goals while maintaining ethical sales practices and excellent customer satisfaction. Handle sensitive customer and financial information with professionalism and confidentiality. Build positive working relationships with customers, lenders, management, and fellow employees. Qualifications Previous automotive dealership experience preferred. Prior automotive finance, sales, or F&I experience is a plus. Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong mathematical skills and general computer proficiency. Ability to learn dealership management systems, lender platforms, and finance processes. Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
