About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Finance Transformation and Strategic Initiatives to spearhead the modernization of its finance function. This senior leadership role is pivotal in driving transformation across various domains, including systems, data, processes, and operating models. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the finance transformation roadmap, leading major initiatives from strategy to execution, and driving process improvement, automation, and operating model redesign. A key aspect of the role is to partner with the CFO and executive team, establish strong project governance, and deliver measurable results. The VP will also be involved in advising on major initiatives, investment decisions, and supporting strategic projects such as M&A and integrations. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 12 years' experience in finance, accounting, consulting, transformation, or financial services, with a proven track record in leading large-scale finance transformation. Experience in the life/annuities insurance industry is highly desirable, and a strong understanding of finance, technology, systems, and data is essential. The role requires the ability to operate effectively with C-suite stakeholders and experience in ERP, reporting, automation, or data transformation is strongly preferred. Professional qualifications such as CPA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent are a plus. The VP will be expected to have a strategic mindset, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive change in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
