Registered Nurse – Med Surg
Location: Atlanta, GA, United States
Start date: 09/20/2026 | Duration: 16 weeks | Shift: Night (12-hour shifts, 3 nights per week) | Weekly pay: $1,558–$1,597 per week | Guaranteed hours: 36 per week | Employment type: Travel - Temporary Assignment
This assignment is for a hospital-based Med/Surg RN role within a travel staffing program.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for adult Med/Surg patients across units including urology, gynecology, orthopedics, medicine, surgery, trauma, ENT vascular.
- Perform assessment, monitor status, administer medications, manage wounds, and support perioperative and post-operative needs.
- Document care and progress in EPIC EMR; maintain accurate MARs, flowsheets, and care plans; ensure timely updates.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, participate in rounds, communicate changes in patient condition, and escalate concerns as needed.
- Maintain patient safety and infection control standards; assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and transitions between units.
- Provide night-shift coverage with attention to continuity of care and patient stability during changes in condition.

Requirements
- Current RN license (active) required
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Certification card on file
- Nursys license verification on file
- No planned time off (RTO) during the assignment
- Profile readiness: include work history/resume with minimal gaps, skills checklist, references, and demographic information as requested
