Title: National Account Manager – E-Commerce

Location: Remote - Ideally Central to Eastern US

A building materials and hardware product company with an established presence across major online retailers and marketplaces is seeking a National Account Manager – E-Commerce to own and grow its e-commerce business. This role will manage the full account lifecycle—from item setup and digital merchandising through retail media, advertising, sales growth, and profitability—with significant hands-on responsibility for improving performance across major national e-commerce channels.

Position Summary

• Own the day-to-day performance and growth of key e-commerce and retailer.com accounts, developing strategies to increase sales, market share, assortment, and profitability .
• Manage the full digital merchandising process, including new item setup, product content, images, specifications, keywords, enhanced content, and ongoing listing optimization.
• Own retail media and advertising activity across Amazon and other retailer platforms, including campaign creation, budget management, performance analysis, and optimization.
• Take responsibility for account- and SKU-level profitability , evaluating revenue, COGS, fulfillment costs, advertising spend, retailer fees, promotions, and other costs.
• Monitor sales trends, inventory, forecasts, out-of-stocks, and account performance while providing actionable weekly and monthly reporting.
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Purchasing, Finance, Customer Service, and Supply Chain to support launches, promotions, inventory planning, and account growth.

Skills/Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, national account management, retail media, or marketplace management , ideally within consumer products, hardware, home improvement, building products, or a related category.
• Hands-on experience managing Amazon and major retailer.com accounts strongly preferred.
• Experience with retailer portals, new item setup, digital content management, and product catalog maintenance.
• Proven ability to build, manage, and optimize digital advertising and retail media campaigns , including performance metrics such as ROAS, ACoS, TACoS, CPC, conversion, and attributed sales.
• Strong understanding of P&L management, margin, profitability, pricing, advertising investment, and e-commerce performance analytics.
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts, launches, deadlines, and projects while operating both strategically and hands-on.
