Company Information : A locally owned steel manufacturer on the southside of Indianapolis to hire an Industrial Maintenance Technician . This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands on work that focuses on preventative and reactive maintenance within an industrial setting.
Industrial Maintenance Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair industrial equipment (cranes, conveyors, saws, automation, and welding equipment)
- Perform 480V electrical troubleshooting (motors, VFDs, panels, sensors)
- Complete mechanical and hydraulic maintenance
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
- Read schematics and follow safety and documentation standards
- Lead a team of 1-2 maintenance technicians, arrange PM's, and diagnostic troubleshooting.
Maintenance Supervisor PREFERRED Qualifications:
- Experience in manufacturing, heavy industry, or automated production environments
- Familiarity with PLCs, sensors, and basic controls troubleshooting
- Welding or fabrication skills.
- Knowledge of pneumatic systems.
- Willing to discuss “On Call” rotation
Maintenance Technician's Schedule:
- Monday - Friday
- 6AM - 2:30PM
- Overtime: Monday - Thursday Until 4:30PM
- Saturday: 6:00AM - 12:30PM (typically voluntary)
Maintenance Supervisor Pay & Benefits:
- Up to $36/HR (based on experience)
