Contracts & Settlements Manager

JOB PURPOSE:To process un-ratified and ratified contracts created between the Company and customers while also coordinating and ensuring the settlement process for each customer is managed efficiently.Duties and ResponsibilitiesOrganize and manage the settlement processCompile and research information for settlement process and settlement reportsSend settlement correspondences to homeownersLiaison between Homeowners, Lenders, Appraisers, Sales, Production, and Title CompaniesEnter settlement information into company systems as requiredFax, copy, mail, and file information related to settlement processMaintain and organize settlement filesRun settlement reports for different departmental usesReview deeds and settlement statements for accuracy prior to approvalPerforms data entry of all contracts, change orders, addendums and color selections into databaseProcess cancelled contracts and lot transfersCopy and distribute contracts to homeowner and other departmentsUpdate contract, start, and permit information in company systemOther duties as apparent or assignedQUALIFICATIONS:Knowledge and SkillsMicrosoft Office experienceStrong verbal and written skillsDetail orientedand organizedEffective multi-tasking skillsAbility to work in fast paced environmentProblem researching capabilityAbility to take initiative and be assertiveProcess management abilityValid driver’s licenseEducation and Work ExperienceAssociates Degree OR 4-5 years work experienceData entry and file management experienceCustomer service experience a plusPrevious homebuilding experience preferredLicensed Notary #J-18808-Ljbffr DRB HOMES
