Workers Compensation Attorney

We are working with a National Insurance Defense Firm, looking for an Workers Compensation Attorney to join their team. Specifically, they are looking for someone who has 2+ years of experience. Requirements: 2+ years of workers compensation experience 2+ years of defense experience Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Admitted to practice law in Illinois Responsibilities: Billable hours: 1900-2000 Manage a caseload of insurance defense cases, from initial claim evaluation to final resolution. Conduct thorough legal and factual research, and develop effective defense strategies for clients. Draft various legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs to support defense strategies. Handle written discovery, take and defend depositions, and prepare witnesses for these proceedings The annual salary for this position is between 150k-200k. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
