ITW Construction provides a variety of fastening systems and truss products for commercial, residential, and remodeling/renovation segments. With products manufactured at locations around the globe serving markets in North America, Europe, Asia, New Zealand and Australia, the Global Tool Unit (GTU) is a part of ITW's Construction Segment. The GTU innovates, develops, and manufactures through our Customer Back Innovation process best-in-class Power Fastening Systems for the global construction market. Our highly differentiated tools are specified to be used in a variety of applications including wood framing, wood trim, and steel to concrete installations. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to use both hands to assemble, carry boxes/bins, tools, and components; to use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. Job rotation is variable for periods of 30 minutes up to 4 hours. Occasionally exposed to fumes, oils, and adhesives. Ability to operate air and hand tools and lift to 35 lbs. Ability to sit and stand as needed or alternate positions. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. PPE required includes ANSI-related safety shoes, safety glasses, and some areas require hearing protection and gloves.Compensation Information:The hourly pay for this position is $18.90.
