Job Description

We are seeking a senior Employment Partner to join our firm and help grow our employment department. Ideal candidates bring deep experience across employment matters, a portable book of business (minimum $500K) and an interest in working in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

YOU ARE:

• An attorney with over 10 years of employment law experience. (California employment law experience is a plus.)
• Licensed to practice in New York, California, Florida, Texas or elsewhere in the U.S. or the UK, with a portable book of business of at least $500,000.
• A natural leader, experienced in advising employers on all aspects of employment law.
• Practical, prepared and resourceful with excellent people skills.
• An efficient and effective plain-English communicator.
• Conscientious, thorough and highly accountable.
• Motivated to learn and improve. Receptive to constructive feedback.
• Polished, poised, energetic with a strong work ethic.
• Always responsive and often proactive, keeping your clients (and team) well-informed.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WOULD:

• Lead the Employment Department and report to the Managing Partner.
• Supervise lawyers, paralegals, law clerks, and externs on your team.
• Lead by example: with your diligence, drive for success and positive attitude.
• Continue to develop your own book of business and help drive the continued growth of the firm.

• Total Compensation — $250,000 — $750,000 or more (based on experience, book of business, and performance).
