Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for ICU patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Monitor patient status, administer prescribed medications, manage ventilated patients, and perform focused assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans; coordinate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and other disciplines.
- Supervise and delegate duties to other nursing staff; ensure safe, healing, and clean environments; uphold infection control practices.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the care team; provide education and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Document care accurately and participate in evaluation of patient progress and relevant outcomes.

Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of practice (California) required.
- Current CPR/BLS (or HS-BLS or RQIBLS) certification required.
- BSN degree preferred; ADN acceptable if applicable per facility needs.
- Minimum of two years of recent ICU experience; acute care facility experience preferred.
- Ability to work in an ICU setting and to fulfill a night-shift travel assignment.
