National Sales Manager

The Opportunity - Sales Manager (people manager) - You're a Boss This is a sales leadership opportunity. We are seeking a sales leader who currently manages a B2B sales team. This role is for individuals with experience leading salespeople through formal management responsibility, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and talent development. Experience managing territories, accounts, regions, channels, or customer portfolios without direct people leadership responsibility does not qualify. Desired Industry Experience Promotional products, branded merchandise, event activation, experiential marketing, tradeshow services, commercial printing, marketing services, or other B2B industries with team-based sales organizations. What Success Looks Like (12–18 Months) Elevated the performance of an already successful sales organization through coaching, development, and disciplined execution. Increased visibility into performance through forecasting and analytics. Built trust and credibility with sales professionals and executive leadership. Contributed to the continued growth and long-term success of the sales organization. Viable candidates will demonstrate strength across all of the following capabilities Demonstrated success leading sales teams engaged in both transactional and consultative sales environments. Proven ability to drive results across varying deal sizes, sales cycles, and customer buying processes. Talent Assessment & Selection Demonstrated ability to assess sales talent, make sound hiring decisions, and build high-performing teams. Proficient in establishing performance standards and holding sales professionals accountable for results. Demonstrated ability to onboard, coach, and develop sales professionals through effective one-on-one leadership. Proven ability to improve performance through feedback, accountability, and professional development. Demonstrated ability to facilitate formal sales training programs, lead onboarding initiatives, and deliver structured learning experiences for sales professionals. Experience developing the sales training curricula is a plus. Proficient in forecasting sales performance and utilizing sales, pipeline, and business data to inform decision-making. Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills. Communicates effectively across all levels of an organization, from individual contributors to senior executives, as well as with clients and external stakeholders. Projects a professional senior-level presence that is evident in all communications and professional digital footprint.
