COOK SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME)

Location: California State University - Northridge Position: Cook Supervisor (Full‑time) | Pay: $22.00–$26.00 per hour Schedule: Monday – Friday; shifts between 6:00 am and 5:00 pm Application: Submit an online application through the university’s portal while positions remain open. Job Summary Directly supervises food‑service associates in accordance with policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Key Responsibilities Train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; evaluate performance; reward and discipline associates; resolve complaints and problems. Advise management of purchasing requirements to minimize waste and avoid shortages. Use approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and portion control. Operate and clean equipment per departmental procedures after each use. Store, label, and date food items; maintain food rotations to reduce spoilage. Follow HACCP guidelines to guarantee food safety. Operate food‑service equipment safely in accordance with policies and procedures. Assist in serving meals and remain present during scheduled meal periods to receive customer feedback. Perform other duties as assigned.
