HR Assistant

Virginia Department of Human Resource Management

HR Assistant

Provide confidential administrative support to the Human Resources team and assure a well-organized, efficient, and effective office. Support the Employee Relations team with related administrative services.

Knowledge of HR management principles and state HR policies, particularly in records management. Familiarity with both manual and electronic record-keeping systems. Proficiency in using PCs, spreadsheets, and databases. Strong organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to handle confidential information responsibly and accurately. Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
