Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor – Night Shift

Position Summary

The RN Supervisor is responsible for overseeing nursing operations during the assigned shift, ensuring quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and staff accountability.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, STNAs)

• Ensure proper staffing levels and coverage for the shift

• Monitor resident conditions and respond to clinical changes

• Handle admissions, discharges, and physician communications

• Oversee medication administration and treatment completion

• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

• Manage and document incidents, concerns, and follow-ups

• Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to staff

• Communicate effectively with DON and interdisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Ohio

• Prior experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF) preferred

• Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience strongly preferred

• Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills

• Ability to manage emergencies and make quick decisions

Schedule

• Night Shift (Full-Time)

• Rotating weekends as required
