Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations, including routine scans for abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, clearly communicating each step with warmth and empathy
• Engage with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the production of high-quality, diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, addressing any technical issues swiftly
• Document procedures meticulously and keep patient records up-to-date in the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging practices and techniques

Education Requirements

• Graduation from an Associate's or Bachelor's program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Demonstrated technical expertise in sonographic imaging and patient positioning
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
