Position Overview

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, clearly explaining each step with empathy
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Keep meticulous records of procedures and document patient information within the electronic medical records system
• Stay updated on advances in ultrasound imaging procedures and adhere to best practices

Educational Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Required Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
