We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to support brand visibility, campaign execution, and cross-functional communication in Honolulu, Hawaii. This contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to a variety of marketing initiatives spanning digital channels, social media, print materials, broadcast outreach, and community events. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external partners in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities:

• Partner with internal departments and outside vendors to develop and deliver marketing initiatives that align with established brand standards.

• Coordinate promotional efforts across multiple channels, including email, social media, print collateral, television, and event-based outreach.

• Act as a central point of contact between communications staff, business units, and third-party partners to keep projects moving smoothly.

• Review marketing materials for consistency, accuracy, and alignment with branding guidelines before distribution or publication.

• Support planning and execution for meetings, campaigns, and external events, including activities that may take place outdoors or at off-site locations.

• Track timelines, organize project details, and help balance multiple assignments while meeting business priorities and deadlines.

• Assist with the creation and updating of marketing content using common business and design tools such as Word, Excel, and related publishing platforms.

• Contribute ideas that improve audience engagement and campaign performance while adapting to changing needs and feedback.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated understanding of marketing principles, brand management, and common promotional channels.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proven ability to stay organized, manage time well, and handle multiple priorities in a collaborative setting.
• Comfortable working independently while also contributing to team-based projects and shared goals.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with applicable auto insurance, if required for the role.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field, along with relevant marketing or communications experience; familiarity with Canva, WordPress, Photoshop, social media strategy, Outlook, PowerPoint, or Publisher is a plus.
