Job Details

Responsibilities: As a Senior Estimator, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Reviewing and interpreting two-dimensional drawings to understand project requirements.
• Utilizing BlueBeam and other industry-standard tools to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Analyzing labor costs, the cost of equipment, and other construction-related expenses to develop accurate and comprehensive construction cost estimates.
• Preparing and submitting RFQs, tracking bids, and working closely with project managers to ensure project goals are met.
• Developing written proposals and presenting them to clients and stakeholders.
• Negotiating contracts and cost estimates to ensure the best outcome for the company.
• Applying your knowledge of building construction to create realistic project timelines and budgets.
• Collaborating with the team to ensure design-build projects are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Senior Estimator role will have the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimation, preferably in a senior role.
• Proficiency in BlueBeam or equivalent software.
• Demonstrated experience with base building construction projects.
• Proven ability to interpret two-dimensional drawings.
• Experience in preparing RFQs, tracking bids, and working with project managers.
• Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record of successful cost estimation.
• In-depth knowledge of building construction, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
• Experience in developing written proposals and presenting them to clients and stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
