Conservation and Wildlife Advocate

Responsibilities Advocate for strong environmental policies by meeting with members of Congress and federal government officials Develop collaborative relationships with legislators and congressional staff on both sides of the aisle Serve as the Environment America voice in conservation coalitions Recruit new partners Raise money from foundations and individual donors to fund campaigns Write reports, fact sheets, news releases, blogs, op-eds, and other forms of communication Represent Environment America with reporters Develop campaign plans and tactics Recruit and manage interns and participate in staff recruitment efforts Requirements At least two years of professional full-time experience in organizing, advocacy, campaigning or legislative work Excellent writing and public speaking skills Solid team player Passion and grit to achieve goals Ability to balance multiple competing goals and policy priorities Soft Skills Team Player Passion Grit Ability to Balance Competing Goals #J-18808-Ljbffr Jobtailor
