Visit us at packaging.toppan.com Summary Description While reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Administrative Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the HR department and other departments as needed. This role assists with recruitment, onboarding, employee records, benefits administration, payroll support, employee communications and maintaining compliance with company policies and employment regulations. Position Details Position: Administrative Assistant Hours: Monday – Friday (8 hours per day) Location: Chillicothe MO Rate: $24.13 What you’ll be doing Perform general administrative duties and HR-related tasks. Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel records. Provide administrative support for payroll and timekeeping processes. Provide administrative support for the hourly recruiting process. Prepare new hire paperwork, coordinate employee onboarding and conduct new hire orientation. Track attendance and notifies Supervisors of need for disciplinary action. Assist employees with questions regarding HR policies, benefits and procedures and signing into the HRIS systems. Assist with development of training programs for all areas of manufacturing. Assist in the lobby in the absence of the receptionist, including greeting visitors and answering phones. Assist with employee appreciation activities. Schedules and participates in community activities. Follows all safety policies and procedures. Complies with all company policies and procedures. Other duties as requested by Manager. Qualifications Associate’s degree from two-year college or technical school or equivalent work experience. Previous administration or HR experience preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to handle confidential information professionally. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to define problems, collect and research data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Proficient in Microsoft applications.
