Philanthropy Officer

To support a growing philanthropy function, the full-time Senior Philanthropy Advisor will manage and advise a portfolio of major donors, shaping relationship strategies and enhancing donor engagement through data-driven insights and tailored communications in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Build long-term, trust-based relationships with major donors to deepen their understanding of GiveWell's work Identify and communicate relevant insights from research to inform major donor decision-making Lead initiatives to improve accessibility of GiveWell's work through donor communications and events Required qualifications Proven experience managing high-stakes relationships with major donors or similar stakeholders Exceptional relationship management skills with high emotional intelligence and an advisory mindset Interest in global health and development, with the ability to engage with complex research Strong communication skills, including the ability to produce original content for discerning audiences Leadership experience in collaborating with senior staff and influencing across teams
