Junior Staff Accountant

Overview Gunderson Dettmer is seeking a Junior Staff Accountant for our Silicon Valley office. This role offers an opportunity to learn how startups operate, secure investments, and pursue growth paths toward sales or public offerings. Responsibilities Perform client billing functions. Manage collections and accounts receivable. Assist with month‑end activities. Qualifications Proficient in Excel, Access, and Word. Strong verbal, written and organizational skills. Good judgment, initiative, flexibility, and time management. Education BS/BA degree in business administration, finance, or accounting. Employment Details Status: Full Time, Non‑Exempt. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm. Location: Silicon Valley office. Compensation Annualized base salary range: $65,000.00 – $70,000.00. The offer will be based on job‑related capabilities, applicable experience, and other factors such as work location. Compensation listed is base salary only and does not include bonuses, benefits, or related incentives.
