Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their unique goals and preferences, employing various therapeutic modalities.

• Implement evidence-based treatment techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address a range of emotional and behavioral challenges.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care practices.

• Monitor and document client progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies as needed to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive, integrated approach to client care.

• Stay current with research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to incorporate the latest best practices into your work.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records to adhere to legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active LMFT license in the state of New York is mandatory.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• Annual salary ranging from USD 52,000 to USD 70,000 , commensurate with qualifications and experience.
