Job#: 3047431 Job Description: Desktop Support Technician Location: Frankfort, KY (Onsite) Contract Duration: 12+ Months Compensation: $18/hr Key Responsibilities Provide desktop support for agency users in Windows-based environments. Install, configure, troubleshoot, and repair desktop hardware and software. Diagnose and resolve technical issues both onsite and remotely. Perform basic network troubleshooting and connectivity support. Deliver outstanding customer service while responding to user requests and incidents. Document issues, resolutions, and support activities as required. Required Qualifications Minimum of 1-2 years of hands‑on desktop support experience. Experience installing, troubleshooting, and repairing hardware and software in a Windows environment. Working knowledge of basic networking concepts and troubleshooting techniques. Strong communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout the service area. Ability to lift and carry equipment and work in physically demanding or uncomfortable positions for extended periods when necessary. Preferred Skills Experience supporting enterprise IT environments. Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, and ticketing systems. Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
