Position overview: BEI is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Broker to play a key role in driving growth. In this role you will be responsible for generating, developing, and executing commercial real estate transactions while providing a high level of service to clients and stakeholders. The Broker is expected to develop new business, maintain and expand existing client relationships, identify opportunities within the market, and successfully guide transactions from initial prospecting through closing. This is a client-facing business-development position where you must maintain professionalism, urgency, composure, and credibility across a variety of situations and personalities. The Broker is expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy while maintaining consistent communication, organization, and accountability for results. While this is primarily a traditional brokerage position, it has a significant in-house component — you'll source and execute deals for our portfolio, lease our large commercial and industrial spaces, contribute to marketing and business development efforts, and have a real voice in shaping our portfolio strategy going forward. You'll report directly to our CEO and Managing Director and work closely with our property management, legal, and leadership teams. Key Responsibilities: - Business Development & Deal Sourcing – Build and manage a consistent pipeline of tenants, buyers, sellers, landlords, and investors through networking, referrals, outreach, and market presence. This includes cold outreach, networking, prospecting and pipeline building. - Leasing & Transaction Management – Lead the leasing of BEI's large commercial and industrial spaces, along with third-party listings, from initial prospecting through negotiation and closing. - Client Relationship Management – Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing market insight and guiding them through their real estate objectives. - Marketing & Business Growth – Contribute ideas and execution support to BEI's broader marketing and business-development initiatives. - Portfolio Strategy – Bring market intelligence and deal insight to the table as BEI evaluates new acquisitions, dispositions, and growth opportunities. Active real estate broker’s license or ability to obtain one in the immediate term.
