If you are committed to providing top-notch security services, operational support, and client care and satisfaction, we invite you to apply and become an integral part of our dedicated team in the Dayton, OH area.As a Dispatch Operator, you will serve as the central communications person for field personnel and clients, ensuring efficient coordination, rapid response, and accurate reporting.The responsibilities of a Dispatch Operator are as follows:Consistent monitoring of internal communications while on duty, looking for abnormalities or opportunities to provide support and guidance to employees on dutyOperation of CCTV equipmentEnsuring employees arrive on time to all scheduled shifts and check in appropriately during their shiftsContact employees, site managers, clients, and other necessary personnel to notify them of any incidents, late arrivals, criminal activity, etc. occurring at any given worksiteAnswer phone calls made to the dispatch line to provide assistance, guidance, and support to employees and clientsCoordinate with field employees, Operations Managers, and/or clients to provide appropriate supportWrite accurate reports to document incidents and activity necessary for internal records and/or clientsJob Type: Part-TimePay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour (based on previous experience)Expected Hours: 8-29 hours per weekSchedule: 24/7 coverage neededDay shiftEvening shiftNight ShiftWeekends as neededWeekends onlyHolidaysBenefits:Professional developmentAdvancement opportunitiesSupportive and collaborative team environmentMinimum Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent1 year of customer service experienceValid drivers licenseReliable transportationPreferred Qualifications1+ years of experience in a dispatch role (transportation, public safety, logistics, field service repair, etc.)1+ years of security experienceNecessary SkillsInterpersonal communicationReport writingBasic computer skillsProblem solvingCritical thinkingEffective and efficient multi-taskingAttention to detailWork location: Dayton, OH (in-person)This position is based out of our Dayton Field Office (DFO)About Us:Sahara Global Security is a Columbus, OH based security guard provider with global ambitions.
