Job Description As a Security Officer Security Clearance Patrol Watch in Arlington, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and innovation while working as part of a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $26.02 / Hour Job Schedule Mon 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM Tue 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM Wed 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify concerns and report security‑related or maintenance‑related issues. Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and support badge, sign‑in, and property access procedures in accordance with site expectations. Prepare clear and accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift notes, and support follow‑up on security‑related concerns as needed. Minimum Requirements Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience. Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance. Be at least 21 years of age. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
