Work Environment

This position will be conducted onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in Front Royal, Virginia. Our clinic is designed to support a collaborative team dynamic where healthcare professionals work together to achieve patient goals. The work schedule is structured for a balanced lifestyle, operating from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized patient evaluations and create tailored treatment plans that align with their unique rehabilitation goals.
• Maintain a manageable patient load to ensure dedicated time for each individual, allowing for personalized interactions and effective care.
• Leverage expertise in orthopedic outpatient care by applying evidence-based techniques to facilitate recovery and improve functional capabilities.
• Utilize innovative treatment modalities and cost-effective interventions focused on enhancing patients' movement and mobility.
• Encourage and empower patients through education, motivation, and support to promote adherence to their treatment regimens.
• Document patient care activities meticulously using EMR software such as Web PT to ensure comprehensive record-keeping.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to devise multifaceted care strategies that optimize patient outcomes.
• Review and monitor patient progress frequently, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs and complexities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role will be on outpatient clients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical procedures, and various musculoskeletal disorders. You will work with diverse age groups, including athletes seeking to return to competitive performance, as well as elderly patients requiring rehabilitation for fall-related injuries.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, intact with no sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Strong competency in various manual therapy techniques, ensuring evidence-based practices are in place.
• Exceptional capability in developing and implementing successful rehabilitation and exercise programs.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records, particularly Web PT, for accurate documentation and patient tracking.
• Current knowledge of innovative physical therapy methodologies supported by up-to-date research.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient orthopedic or sports medicine setting, demonstrating a thorough understanding of rehabilitation protocols.
• Familiarity with multidisciplinary collaboration in a rehabilitation environment.
• Hands-on experience with diverse modalities and techniques to enhance patient recovery and engagement.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
