Key Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patients' physical conditions, developing effective rehabilitation plans tailored to their unique goals and circumstances.
• Provide hands-on therapy through various manual techniques to alleviate pain and promote motion.
• Maintain a manageable patient caseload, allowing for meaningful interaction and comprehensive care for each individual.
• Implement evidence-based treatment modalities and therapy techniques to aid in patient recovery.
• Utilize advanced technology and EMR software, specifically Web PT, for meticulous documentation and tracking of patient progress.
• Educate patients about their conditions, preparing them for what to expect during treatment and providing guidance on self-management strategies.
• Develop and oversee tailored fitness and wellness programs aimed at improving strength, flexibility, and overall health.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers, including physicians, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation specialists, to ensure coordinated care.
• Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness, adjusting care plans as necessary based on patient feedback and progress.
• Encourage and motivate patients, reinforcing positive changes and ensuring adherence to their rehabilitation protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse outpatient population, including athletes recovering from injuries, post-surgical patients, and individuals seeking to enhance their overall physical performance. Each patient presents unique challenges and requirements, allowing you to apply your expertise in orthopedic care. Your approach will emphasize individualized therapy, enabling each client to achieve their rehabilitation goals while minimizing their reliance on medications and surgical interventions.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia with a flawless record, free from sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Proven expertise in manual therapy techniques and comprehensive knowledge of orthopedic treatment strategies.
• Strong proficiency in developing and executing successful exercise programs tailored to patients' specific needs.
• Familiarity with EMR software, notably Web PT, and a commitment to maintaining precise documentation of patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
