Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, providing the flexibility needed for a balanced work-life experience. Our therapists work primarily during standard business hours, Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing ample time for both professional responsibilities and personal pursuits. As a member of a virtual community health clinic, you will collaborate closely with other mental health professionals, psychiatrists, and support staff to ensure an integrated approach to care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments for each client, evaluating the severity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms.

• Work collaboratively with clients to create individualized treatment plans that align with their unique needs, treatment goals, and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored for mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to foster greater understanding and involvement in the recovery process.

• Monitor client progress meticulously throughout the treatment journey, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations.

• Engage in close collaboration with psychiatrists and allied health professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care for our clients.

• Stay well-informed of the latest research on mood disorders to integrate new insights into treatment practices, thereby enhancing patient outcomes.

• Maintain up-to-date, accurate, and confidential documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Actively participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities to refine skills and share best practices.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs, promoting awareness and reducing stigma associated with mood disorders within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role will be individuals experiencing various mood disorders, including, but not limited to, depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. You will engage with a diverse range of clients, including adolescents, adults, and families from various backgrounds. Your work will be instrumental in helping them navigate their mental health challenges and fostering resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
\n
• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment methodologies for mood disorders, such as CBT and DBT.

• Strong working knowledge of psychopharmacology and a commitment to collaborating effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers.

• Proven success in achieving positive outcomes in mood disorder treatments, backed by a solid track record.

• Exceptional communication skills and proficiency in building rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a community health clinic or similar settings, providing mental health services to varied populations.
