With a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours each week from August through June, you’ll experience the rewards and challenges of guiding learners through a pivotal stage in their education journey.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement required
• Experience working with middle school students preferred
• Solid understanding of best practices in special education, including IEP development and implementation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working closely with staff, students, and families
• Dedication to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and equitable classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging, differentiated instruction for students with diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to provide comprehensive student support
• Regularly assess student progress, adapting strategies as needed to help all learners achieve their goals
• Lead and participate in IEP meetings, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
• Create a positive classroom culture where each student feels valued and empowered to succeed
