Work Environment

This full-time position requires an onsite presence at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition and create individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to implement therapeutic interventions that promote recovery and improve patients' functional abilities.
• Document clinical findings and prepare comprehensive reports to identify trends in patient outcomes and educational opportunities for improvement.
• Engage in peer-to-peer consultations with colleagues to ensure that treatment plans align with clinical guidelines and provide support in challenging cases.
• Ensure strict compliance with all organizational policies, procedures, and clinical protocols while maintaining medical necessity and appropriateness of care.
• Review and clinically assess requests for physical therapy services, including diagnosis, evaluations, and treatment plans submitted by coordinators.
• Adhere to nationally recognized clinical guidelines and utilization management protocols to ensure the highest standards of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Physical Therapist at Active Movement Therapy, Inc., you will work with a diverse patient population. Your caseload will include individuals recovering from physical injuries, those with neurological conditions, and patients with developmental or cognitive impairments. Your ability to connect and adapt your approach for various demographics, including pediatric patients, will be essential in providing personalized and effective therapy.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program in physical therapy.
• Valid and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology with proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques.
• Previous experience in both outpatient and acute care settings, demonstrating adaptability in various clinical environments.
• Competence in providing inpatient care and familiarity with hospital medicine practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with pediatric patients is highly valued.
• A history of involvement in multidisciplinary team settings.
• Organizational skills and the ability to manage treatment documentation efficiently, minimizing paperwork while maximizing patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an attractive salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
