This role oversees high-priority and business-critical projects that span information technology and infrastructure domains, often involving global team members and timelines ranging from one to five years in duration. The Project Manager defines project scope, coordinates deliverable schedules across cross-functional teams, and develops risk mitigation strategies while facilitating technically sound solutions aligned with Applied Medical's organizational objectives. Professionals with backgrounds in IT project management, enterprise systems implementation, infrastructure program management, or technology delivery will find this role a strong fit.Key ResponsibilitiesManage all stages of the project lifecycle for large-scale technology and infrastructure projects, including scope definition, scheduling, risk management, issue resolution, and budget oversight using established project management methodologies.Prepare comprehensive project plans for all phases of the project lifecycle, balancing resource allocation across teams to ensure milestones and delivery timelines are consistently met.Proactively identify and manage changes in project scope, issues, and risks, developing and executing contingency plans to keep high-priority initiatives on track.Develop and prioritize project deliverables and artifacts, maintaining accurate meeting minutes that document key decisions and action items throughout the project lifecycle.Facilitate project communication and change management activities, ensuring stakeholders at all levels receive clear, timely, and accurate updates on project status and progress.Collaborate with business analysts, internal customers, and cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and ensure technical solutions align with business needs.Manage vendor relationships and facilitate vendor evaluations in support of technology procurement and implementation activities.Track and report project progress, risks, and financial performance to stakeholders, preparing and maintaining project documentation and reports within established timeframes.Mentor and provide guidance to Project Coordinators and Project Analysts where applicable, supporting the development of junior team members within the project management function.Apply a high level of attention to detail across all assigned projects, maintaining rigor and discipline throughout engagements that span multiple years and involve significant organizational complexity.Success in This Role Looks LikeDelivering large-scale technology and infrastructure projects on time, within scope, and within budget, with clear documentation and consistent stakeholder alignment throughout.Anticipating project risks and scope changes early, presenting well-reasoned mitigation strategies to leadership before issues affect delivery timelines or outcomes.Building trusted working relationships with cross-functional teams, business analysts, and vendor partners that support effective collaboration across complex, multi-year engagements.Producing project documentation, financial tracking reports, and status updates that give leadership accurate and timely visibility into project health across the portfolio.Demonstrating sound judgment in planning and organizing projects of high complexity, maintaining discipline and follow-through across all phases of the project lifecycle.Contributing to the growth of the project management function by mentoring junior team members and modeling best practices in project governance and delivery.Position RequirementsThis position requires the following skills and attributes:Demonstrated experience managing large-scale information technology or infrastructure projects through the full project lifecycle, including projects with global team involvement and multi-year timelines.Proficiency in established project management methodologies and tools, including scheduling, scope management, risk management, and budget tracking.Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, business analysts, and internal customers to define requirements and deliver technically sound project outcomes.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and make sound decisions under conditions of complexity and ambiguity.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare and present project status reports, risk assessments, and executive-level updates.Hyper attention to detail with the organizational discipline to maintain accuracy and completeness across long-duration, high-complexity project engagements.Experience managing vendor relationships and facilitating vendor evaluations in a technology procurement or implementation context.Ability to mentor and provide guidance to junior project management team members.PreferredThe following skills and attributes are preferred:Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management credential.Experience managing enterprise software application implementations, systems integrations, or infrastructure modernization programs.Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project management frameworks in a technology delivery context.Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, with SAP experience preferred.Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Project, Planner, Teams, and Visio.BenefitsCompetitive compensation range: $95000 -
