Step into a meaningful school-based contract opportunity supporting students’ speech and language needs for the 2026-2027 school year! Full-time roles are now open for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) near Lancaster, TX, providing onsite services in both elementary and high school settings. You’ll be part of a collaborative educational environment dedicated to student growth and communication success.
Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
- Prior experience in school-based SLP roles
- Skilled in supporting diverse caseloads, including assessment and therapy implementation
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Passion for working with students and collaborating with educators and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy onsite (no virtual roles)
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify student needs
- Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with district policies
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to foster student success
- Serve as a resource for staff on communication and language development strategies
- Follow all relevant regulations and standards for ethical service delivery
