CAFE ATTENDANT

Position SummaryThe Café Attendant is responsible for providing friendly and efficient food and beverage service to members and guests at the pool café. This position ensures the café remains clean, organized, and fully stocked while maintaining the high service standards expected in a country club environment.Key ResponsibilitiesGuest ServiceGreet members and guests in a friendly and professional mannerTake food and beverage orders accurately using the POS systemProvide prompt and attentive service to ensure a positive guest experienceAddress guest requests and communicate concerns to the Supervisor when necessaryFood & Beverage ServicePrepare and serve beverages including coffees, cocktails, smoothies, and other café beveragesServe beer, wine, and other beverages following responsible alcohol service guidelinesMaintain quality and presentation of all food and beverage itemsEnsure orders are delivered quickly and accuratelyCleaning & OrganizationMaintain a clean and sanitary work environment at all timesWipe counters, prep areas, and service stations regularlySweep and maintain the café and surrounding guest areasEmpty trash and recycling as neededClean equipment and service tools at the end of the shiftStocking & InventoryRestock coolers with beverages and snacks throughout the shiftReplenish cups, lids, napkins, straws, and other suppliesNotify the Supervisor when products or supplies are running lowAssist with organizing storage areas and rotating products (FIFO)TeamworkWork collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operationsComplete assigned side duties during slower service periodsAssist coworkers during busy periods to maintain efficient serviceSafety & ComplianceFollow all health, sanitation, and safety standardsAdhere to responsible alcohol service policiesMaintain a safe and organized work environmentQualificationsPrevious food and beverage or customer service experience preferredFriendly, professional, and reliableAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate itemsAvailability to work weekends and holidaysWork EnvironmentThis position is located at a poolside café in a country club setting and may require working outdoors in warm weather conditions.Reports To: Food & Beverage Supervisor#SPCC #J-18808-Ljbffr
