Mountain Side Counseling & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our growing team in a full-time role. This position primarily operates within a hospice care setting, emphasizing the importance of compassionate and effective mental health support.

Work Environment\n

This role is uniquely positioned as a remote opportunity but is integral to our hospice center, allowing you to work from home while collaborating with a supportive team dedicated to improving the lives of our clients. Our operational hours are from 8 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Friday, and we offer flexible scheduling options, including 4x10 or 5x8 shifts to promote work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct psychotherapy and counseling sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, adapting techniques to suit the specific needs of clients.

• Perform thorough client interviews to acquire a comprehensive understanding of their social, personal, environmental, and health concerns.
\n
• Evaluate and develop treatment plans addressing problems within your clinical scope, ensuring appropriate interventions.
\n
• Design and implement programs and activities tailored to the psychosocial needs of clients, particularly in the context of hospice care.
\n
• Facilitate short-term crisis interventions, identifying community resources for referrals and ongoing care.
\n
• Foster therapeutic relationships based on mutual respect, trust, and understanding, which ultimately enhances the treatment experience.
\n
• Assess and monitor the effectiveness of treatment approaches and document all clinical interactions in compliance with established protocols.
\n
• Maintain an organized caseload, ensuring all documentation is current and reflective of the services provided.
\n
• Engage in clinical supervision and may perform additional duties as assigned to support overall team functioning.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with patients in hospice care, providing emotional and psychological support to those facing terminal illnesses, as well as their families. Your efforts will focus on helping clients navigate feelings of grief, anxiety, and depression, and engage them in conversations about end-of-life decisions and quality of life improvements.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is a prerequisite.

• Active LCSW licensure in the state of Texas is required.
\n
• A strong commitment to client confidentiality and ethical practice.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of four years of experience in clinical social work or a related field is preferred.

• Prior experience in mental health counseling, specifically focusing on behavioral health issues including depression, anxiety disorders, substance abuse, and family therapy.

• Experience working within hospice settings or with end-of-life care is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
