Legal Pricing & Analytics Manager

A top-ranked national law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Pricing & Analytics Manager to join its Los Angeles team. This is a highly visible position focused on strategic pricing, matter budgeting, financial analysis, and profitability . The Manager will work closely with attorneys and senior business professionals to develop pricing strategies, monitor matter performance, and provide financial insights that support key business decisions. Key Responsibilities Partner with attorneys and firm leadership to develop pricing strategies and matter budgets Create pricing recommendations for new and existing client engagements Analyze client and matter financial performance, profitability, and trends Monitor actual performance against budgets and identify matters requiring attention Develop financial models and provide actionable recommendations to attorneys and leadership Support strategic pricing initiatives, alternative fee arrangements, and client RFPs Prepare and maintain client and matter-level financial reporting Assist with forecasting, dashboards, and profitability reporting Perform data analysis, reconciliation, and financial modeling Collaborate with Finance, Business Development, Practice Management, and other internal teams Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial and matter data Qualifications 5+ years of pricing experience preferred Law firm or legal industry experience highly preferred Advanced Excel skills Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Comfortable communicating directly with attorneys and senior-level stakeholders Previous leadership or supervisory experience highly preferred Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Professional services experience is a plus Aderant experience is a plus Why Join?
