The Opportunity We are seeking an Optometrist who wants to combine clinical excellence, patient-centered care, and community impact. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive eye care to patients across a variety of age groups and work collaboratively with primary care and other healthcare professionals. This position offers flexibility in scheduling, with full-time and part-time opportunities available for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive eye examinations and routine vision assessments Evaluate and manage refractive errors Prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions Perform ocular disease screening and monitoring Provide diabetic eye examinations and retinal health screenings Screen for glaucoma and cataracts Provide pediatric, adult, and geriatric vision care Identify ocular manifestations of systemic disease Provide patient education regarding eye health and preventive care Coordinate referrals to ophthalmology and other specialists when appropriate Collaborate with primary care and other members of the healthcare team Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Provide compassionate, culturally sensitive, patient-centered care Support the continued growth and development of the Optometry program What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate is a licensed Optometrist who is: Clinically competent and committed to high-quality patient care Compassionate, dependable, and professional Patient-focused and an effective communicator Comfortable treating patients across a variety of age groups Interested in preventive care and early detection Comfortable working within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment Passionate about improving access to healthcare Interested in serving Central Valley communities Excited about contributing to the growth of a developing Optometry program Why Join Living Water Clinic?
