This includes hiring, training and developing the culinary staff, managing inventory, controlling costs, and maintaining the quality and safety of food production. Job Responsibilities Accountable for operational excellence in the kitchen Delegate tasks and give direction to all kitchen staff Conduct interviews with kitchen management and staff candidates Select, orient, and continually develop all Sous Chefs and kitchen staff Prepare the work schedule for Sous Chefs and kitchen staff Preserve safety certification requirements for all kitchen staff Manage inventory, cost of goods, and overall financial control Ensure compliance with health inspections Supervise and facilitate all training for food prep and execution of menu items, procedures, and recipes Ensure proper timing and production of food orders Conduct performance appraisals for Sous Chefs and kitchen staff Hold kitchen staff accountable for dress code standards Maintain product quality standards Maintain expected food costs and inventory levels Oversee or complete prep lists and ordering guides Complete opening and closing checklists Maintain and repair kitchen equipment and facility Know how to work all kitchen stations proficiently Provide a clean and safe environment for both team members and guests Job Requirements 3+ years of culinary management experience, including writing prep lists Valid driver’s license for occasional duties such as shift coverage, delivering catering orders, operating rental trucks, supply runs, and travel between locations Experience managing inventory, cost of goods, and overall financial control Experience working in a hands‑on, fast‑paced, high‑volume environment Experience managing a team and developing employees for future leadership roles Experience facilitating and executing training effectively Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to stand and walk for eight to ten hours per shift Ability to reach, bend, balance, and transport objects weighing up to 30 lbs repeatedly; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs Ability to work in warm to very warm kitchen temperatures Preferences Bilingual in English and Spanish Experience working in an upscale scratch‑kitchen concept Previous front‑of‑house restaurant management experience Culinary degree or culinary certificate Deadline Deadline to apply: 5/30/26 #J-18808-Ljbffr P.F.
